Blog Assignment #9 pictures 11-15

In this picture, i focus on the colorful balloons, and when I see a colorful bouquet like that. It reminds me of happiness. And the joy of a little kid who might get one of those balloons. And once they hold their very own balloon, they only focus on the floating joy that they have in their hand. <3

i like this picture, because they look like they are having fun! playing at the beach with some friends in the cool summer sun is always fun! :)

I like this picture, it looks spooky, mystical, and mysterious. the little girl might be trying to run away from something. or is running to something… but whatever it is, I hope she finds what she is looking for. :)
in this picture, i think it says that you can never dream too big. and that where ever you are, you will always have a friend right behind you, to help you out. <3

this picture is so cute! it reminds me of me and my best friend... we may be two differant people on the outside, but on the inside, we are just alike! <3

Blog Assignment #9 pictures 6-10

^^i love this picture, mainly because of the colors, the life, and i've taken a picture very simular to this. but of corse this picture looks much better than mine. :)
the picture of the flower and the dress, it’s so beautiful. it has bright colors, still life, and it’s real! usually when i see a picture like this, i think "wow that’s so pretty! that can't be real!" but it is! God's creation is just awesome like that! <3
this tree is so amazing! i love the way the bright blue sky makes the flowers shine! it gives it life, and it gives it beauty. <3

>>This picture reminds me of hope. And that even though at times you might be down, you can still go under the covers and find shelter. <3

this picture reminds me of the brighter side in life. And that you can roam free into the open air. And that you can take a new journey to another world, if only you can imagine. <3

Blog Assignment #9 pictures 1-5

i think this little girl is dancing in the rain, expressing herself, and not caring if she gets wet. not caring about what the world thinks of her. she is just playing, having fun, and has a beautiful imagination. <3
it's so cute that the man is holding his dog. they fell asleep on the streets, because they are homeless. and they have little to nothing, but they do have each other <3

this picture reminds me of tiny, sugary, colorful robots. come to invade my kitchen, looking for candy. on which they strive. :)

this picture, it reminds me of something a camp fire story would be based off of. the name of the story would be... "Mr. Man rows across Lake Misty every time a boy or girl is rude to their friend." haha i was never one to make up stories... so that's the best i can do :)

this picture is soo cute! i thinks it's of a little boy who hopes dreams of being a super hero! so he puts on is super suit, and soars through his imagination with his friends Batman and The Hulk. :)

Blog Assignment #6 feature stories

CANDY!

Who doesn’t like candy? There are all kinds of shapes, sizes, flavors, textures… from Hershey bars at your local convent store, to a bag of candy corn on Halloween. There are different candies for different occasions. But it’s yummy to eat ALL THE TIME! You can never get enough! I know I can’t. :) But if all I’m going to talk about is candy... I should probably say that if u eat too much, you’ll get sick. Oh and to always brush your teeth twice a day! Anything else? No I think I’m good. But yeah… candy is great! :D

BACK TO SCHOOL:

I know, I know. You probably don’t want to be here right now, but we all are in it together. It’s hard getting back into the routines. But you’ll get used to it soon enough. School can be fun right? I mean all the work, homework, projects, and tests. Fun right? Ha just kidding! But you do get to hang out with friends! And if you’re new to Bethany, might I say WELCOME! And I hope you’ve made friends. But back to the subject… School, it can be hard at times. But all you have to do is say that it’ll be over sooner than you think! (:

(sorta ;-]) I have a section about music and choir. it has a guitar and musical notes. i put it there, because Bethany has a choir program. :) And another section I have is sports. It has different pictures of different sports. Even though Bethany doesn’t have high school sports, its a big part in everyone’s life. Another section I have is of the journalism class names. I thought it would be special to have all of our names somewhere in the year book! :)

Blog Assignment #3

On my year book pages (p.18-19) i put pictures. Some of the pictures were about sports, animails, and music. Which every school has a little bit of of each. Two of the pictures that I put on my pages, I took myself! The picture of the flower that's in black and white, and of the two zebras. I love photography, so I thought I should put some of "me" in our year book. :)

Blog Assignment #2 - Happy News

Good Friendships Key To Healthy Living:
In this artical, it says that without social conections such as friends, family, and neighors we have a huge rick in life. Without social interaction, it is equivalent to smoking 15 cigaretts a day and being an alcoholic. Is more harmful than not exercising, and is twice as harmful as obesity. When someone is connected to a group and feels responsibility for others, that sense of purpose and meaning translates to taking better care of themselves and taking fewer risks. As humans we take relationships for granted. The constant interaction isn't only beneficial, but helpful to our health.

Squirrels Show Softer Side by Adopting Orphans:
The squirrels live in complete isolation and are very territorial. Except the one day of the year, where the females are ready to mate or when they are nursing. Red squirrels will adopt pups who have lost their mothers. Researchers have found only 5 adoptions out of thousands. The adoptions actually happen, but it is rare. In all five adoptions, the pups were nieces, nephewss, siblings, or grandchildren to the adotive mother.

Blog Assignment #1

My name is Abigail, but my friends call me Abby. I was born August 20, 1995, at Woman's hospital in Baton Rouge. I now live in Central, Louisiana. I’ve lived in Central just about all of my life. I am crazy and outgoing once you really get to know me.
My parents’ names are Buddy and Dawn. I have two sisters; my older sister, Amber, her husband Kyle, and my younger sister, Angel. When I was 7 months old, I had meningitis. I was deathly sick for nearly a week. But after all the constant prayer from the church and family members, I was completely healed!
I have been going to Bethany Christian School and Bethany World Prayer Center almost all my life. My family and I attend church every Saturday night at Bethany. My mother interprets for the deaf there and also at LSU. I help with the children in the KidZone.
I love to dance! I have been dancing for four years. My cousin and I dance for Legworks by Terri. We dance to Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Character and Lyrical. My class and I recently performed at Disney World. It was a great experience.
I hope and dream of being a photographer when I grow up. I love taking pictures of still life and nature. I have been hired several times by companies wanting me to take pictures of their special events. This summer several of my pictures of the governor and mayor where published in the local news papers.

In conclusion, I have lived a full and happy life in my walk with the Lord.
